Sheriff Joe Arpaio said 12 workers
at Lindstrom Family Auto Wash were booked into county jail on
suspicion of fraudulent identification; two others were arrested
on suspicion of being undocumented immigrants and will be turned over
to Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
The Sheriff's Office had been investigating the carwash for
about a year.
Deputies served search warrants at the business
and at employees' homes Saturday.
Arpaio said his office
investigated seven businesses and arrested 248 people in
connection with the state's employer-sanctions law.
